Profile

aia automation institute is a PROFINET Competence Center that provides services for both manufacturers and end users of PROFINET technology. aia automation institute runs an extensive PROFINET testbed and various multi-vendor demonstrators with a total of more than 40 PROFINET devices. The Competence Center is involved in the software development of the Automated PROFINET Test system, which is used for certification test.

Services range from consultancy for manufactures and end users to implementation of PROFINET IO in customer devices. Implementation capabilities cover software development and functional hardware prototyping. Furthermore, workshops with special focus on certification and testing are provided.

Services

PROFINET Training and Workshops are offered with special focus on testing and development (English and German).

Consultancy and development support for manufacturers of IO Devices.

Implementation of PROFINET into devices, including soft- and hardware development.

Demo Systems:

Fully equipped certification test set ups, multi-vendor demo suite consisting of 10 test stands with PLCS and various PROFINET IO devices. Vendors comprise Siemens, Phoenix Contact, Wago, Endress +Hauser, Murr Electronic, Molex, Softing, Hilscher, Beckhof, HMS, etc.
