PROFINET is the open, manufacturer-independent industrial Ethernet standard for manufacturing and process automation. With its scalable communication, it offers the highest performance and flexibility and meets all requirements for the use of Ethernet in industrial automation.


The PROFINET standard (IEC 61158 / IEC 61784) enables rapid implementation of the communication protocol in field devices.
